Simple Rubber Band Gun Out Of Popsicles

Last time I made an instruction on how to make a homemade toy gun from popsicles that deliver unny click-clack sound when playing. Now I found that this can also be a simple rubber band gun out of popsicles with just some adjustment.

This rubber band gun can make many shot at a time say for 4 to 12 rounds.

How to make yourself this Safe Toy Swiss Knife:

Step1: Use 4 popsicles, cut them in to these parts. make hole on the 2 covers, the knife blade and the bottle cap opener.

Step2: Glue 4 small parts at the 2 ends of a cover like this.

Step3: Continue to glue the 2nd cover on.

Step4: Put the toothpick stick through 2 cover, the knife blade, and the bottle opener. Glue the toothpick to 2 cover. Be careful, do not stick the toothpick to the knife and the opener. Then cut away the spare part of the toothpick.

Homemade toys - Funny Swinging Monkey

It is interesting right! Let's begin to make by your self this toy.

Material:

Thin cardboard
2 bamboo sticks
1 toothpick
1 plastic straw
1 popsicle
Some thin rope

How to make the homemade toy - Funny Swinging Monkey:

Draw 1 monkey body, 2 hands, 2 legs on your cardboard. Note that the hands should be long enough that the monkey will not be stuck when swinging.

Cut them all out.

Bore 2 holes on the body, 3 hole on the hands, 1 hole on the legs as this picture.

Slip your toothpick through 1 hand then the body, and then the other hand. Glue 2 hand to the toothpick. Be careful not to glue the body to the toothpick, that make the toy monkey can not swing.

Cut away the spare parts of the toothpick.

Do the same for the legs. Now you can see the monkey of your homemade swinging toy.

Carve 2 lines on each bamboo sticks, tie your thin rope to one of them at the 2 slits, glue to fixed the tie points.

Slip 2 ropes through 2 holes of each hands. Beware of the order, the higher rope slip through the hole that closer to the body.

Continue to tie the ropes to the last bamboo stick, glue to fixed them. ( After tying, if one rope longer than the other, make it some more rounds around the stick, glue again .. until 2 rope have the same length).

Make 2 hole on the popsile, put 2 segments of plastic straws through, glue them together.

Put 2 sticks through 2 straws, glue the sticks to the straws.

Now, you've made your self the funny swinging monkey, enjoy your very excited homemade toy.

You will need these material: 2 tongue depressor/ popsicle, 2 rubber bands, 1 tooth-pick, a small piece of paper.

How to make your Homemade Toy Harmonica From Tongue Depressor:

Stick some sticky tape around along 2 tongue depressor, this will prevent your lips from wooden splinter.

Cut your tooth-pick into 2 parts.

Cut a piece of paper with the size a little smaller than you tongue depressor / popsicle. Put it on the first tongue depressor.

Put 2 half-toothpick at the 2 ends.

Put the last tongue depressor on.

Use rubber bands to tie at the 2 ends, and you've finished your home toy harmonica from tongue depressor / popsicle.

An interesting thing is you can blow or inhale your homemade toy harmonica at the same point and it give different sounds.

In this article, easyDITtoys.com will show you how to make a homemade Click - Clack Toy gun, a DIY toy gun from popsicle and tongue depressor that sound click clack when playing.

Material for making this homemade Click - Clack Toy Gun:

Tongue depressor ticks or big size popsicle, popsicle which smaller than the first, tooth picks, rubber bands.

How to make the homemade click clack toy gun from popsicle and tongue depressors:

Step1: Use the bigger popsicle stick, bore a hole on 2 each sticks at the position like this picture. Take some other ticks and cut 3 of them them into these above shape.

Step2: Stick 3 later sticks in step1 to make the handle for your homemade toy gun using Kodak Eastman 910, Super Glue 502 ... a kind of transparent liquid glue.

Step3: Stick your just-made toy gun handle with 2 borehole-sticks in step1, these 2 borehole-sticks will be the body for the homade toy gun.

Step4: Take 3 small popsicle stick, tick them together, then stick to the gun body like these pictures to make the gun barrel.

Step5: Take 2 ticks of small size popsicle, glue them into the cross shape, bore a hole at the center that your toothpick can easy go through. This will be the trigger for your DIY click clack toy gun.

Step6: Put the trigger into the slit of the gun body, stab your toothpick through the gun body and the trigger. Glue the toothpick to the gun body, be careful not to let the trigger tick to the toothpcik. Then cut away the spare parts of the toothpick.
